On Christmas day this year, just like the past two, I’ll be showering the love of my life with sumptuous gifts, endless cuddles and love. We’ll sit beside the tree together, carols playing in the background, and open our presents, oblivious to the world around us.Sadly, for my partner of four years, George, I’m not referring to him but to our gorgeous two-and-a-half-year-old bulldog Matilda.You’d be forgiven for thinking I’m barking mad - pardon the pun - and I probably am, but Matilda came into my life and changed everything, not least my capacity to love another being. All Matilda's collars are handmade from a company called Holly & Lil, who supply Harrods.

Jonathan Ross gives Holly&Lil Collars to Hollywood Superstar Guest!

If you were watching 'Friday Night with Jonathan Ross' on 20th February 09, you will have seen his brilliant interview with Hollywood A-lister Mickey Rourke....And his special gift of three Holly&Lil collars for Mickey's beloved Chihuahuas.

As Mickey Rourke said in his award acceptance speech at the Golden Globes "Sometimes, when a man is alone, that's all you got is your dog. And they've meant the world to me,"

Mickey's present was a Dice charm collar, a little miniwide Harris Tweed number and, star of the show, a Pirates charm collar. And for his own superstar, Mr. Pickle the pug, Jonathan now has two different versions of our fabulous bell collars. It's great to think of our little bit of Britain headed back to Hollywood in Mickey Rourke's suitcase!
