Uggie the star of The Artist hit it big in 2012 and was on many a Red Carpet. Omar, Uggies Trainer, emailed me some interest in our designs and with a "brief". The collar needed some shine for the cameras and hardy enough to allow Uggie to do his tricks. Then I got designing. Mercy Muller, Omars wife, was a HUGE help, as Uggie and Omar were off being interviewed everywhere. We went from design to creation in a week and off they went to USA! No time to even get the sets photographed. I completely understood that they must be innundated with offers but Mercy seemed to love them We had given up hope and I thought it creepy to tell anyone if it did not come off BUT though it looks like Uggie did not wear my collar - he was beautifully co-ordinated in a matching bowtie with the actor Jean Dujardin - the lead got the nod and the wonderful Mullers kept our Holly&Lil heart on it! I cannot tell you how thrilled I was. As the plane landed and my phone went on the messages started from my eagle eyed friends.

Here is the gorgeous set I made for Uggie. Black Calf collar with Gold piping - but the bow is black patent with Gold spots. The matching lead that he used on the Red carpet is divine - Black calf shaft and back, Gold Piping, Black Patent handle and Gold inside the handle. Heaven!

These sets are made to order so do allow time to make them - 6 -8 weeks
