Handmade in England, Holly&Lil 's heavenly Harris Tweed collection has a chic country style. Holly &Lil uses a range of traditional heavy weight world famous Harris Tweed, hand-woven on home looms on the islands of Lewis, Harris, Uist and Barra, by the islanders in their own homes, using pure virgin wool that has been dyed and spun in the Outer Hebrides. This is the definition of Harris Tweed contained in the Harris Tweed Act of 1993 and it ensures that all cloth certified with the Harris Tweed Orb symbol complies with this definition and is genuine Harris Tweed, the world’s only commercially produced hand woven tweed. The backing is supple calf leather, rolled and piped around the edges of the cowhide to create a finish we’ve created to be kind to neck fur. Customers report that they are thrilled that although these collars are so durable, they don’t ‘carve’ collar lines and can help overcome matting in long or silky coats.

Available with Brown calf. The super smart black and white Herringbone available with either black or red calf. And finally the ultra chic Scarista piped and backed with pacific Grey
Due to supply issues beyond my control but driving me NUTS - LEWIS is only available at the moment as WIDES. But hopefully soon all will be flowing happily!
Tweed and tartan collars are tough and durable for everyday use and are happy to take regular wetting, mud and fox poo rolling from active dogs. We would caution though that if your dog is a constant neck 'scratcher', you will need to make sure that his or her claws are not tearing the weave of the tweed/tartan .
NOTE: There are a few Pink Thistle and Brown Speckle left. Call the shop if you want to know if we have your size left in stock.

NB: Sizes ½ and 1 ‘miniwides’ lightweight collars are specially designed for mini breeds such as Chihuahuas. Small terriers are better suited by our ‘Slim 5/8” full buckle’ design.
