Leading pug breeder Elaine Arnold of Snugglepugs asked us to create a modern take on the traditional bell collars which pugs have worn since the 18th Century. In our new version, masses of tiny bells and sparkling Fire Crystals are handsewn onto the supple calf leather collar. The bells have a delicate ‘silvery‘ jangle and although pugs were our inspiration, they actually look splendid on any breed of dog.... large or small.
Or choose the more traditional 'Big Bells'. Both Dresden and Meissen made highly collectable porcelain pug figures featuring these classic bell collars, which we have recreated here. Our addition is a sparkling Swarovski heart set between each of the large bells...and the overall effect is magical. PS: Pugs seem to really love the tinkling of the bells!
Alternatively, we make a glistening Silver and Gold varied size bell option................ As usual with H&L there's just so much to choose from!
Note: All collars above size 3 are reinforced with metal eyelets to protect the supple calf leather from enthusiastic pullers!
